Venue : SGGS Hall

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (P) St. George or St. George's Girls' School (SGGS) is my former high school. Annually, SGGS will organise their fund-raising project. This year the fund-raising project is called Senithon. So, SGGS Wind Orchestra was one of the activities for Senithon. Presently, one of Senithon's aims is to enhance the band's intruments. Attending this performance could possibly be one reason for me of coming back or so-called visiting my x-school. ngee~

'A Glimpse of Melody' is the distinction theme for this SGGS Band performance. Beginning at 8pm, the band members performed their talents by presenting almost 10 songs. Simply putting on two costumes, the two hours concert began with 'Henderson Overture', followed by 'Memory', 'Brazil', 'El Relicario', 'The Phantom of the Opera Medley', 'James Bond Theme','Y.M.C.A' and finished by two suprised songs (Sorry, I couldn't remember what are the song titles... hee~). After all, I really admired the 'James Bond Theme' performance, very energetic. The entire show was simply awesome! Credit to the great job of Mr. Mohd Haswani Hassan. Under his 15 years dynamic leadership, SGGS Band rose to great heights with a reputation of being one of the most phenomenal and highly-ranked marching bands of Penang!

I took the chance during the intermission to walk around the school compounds. Hehe~ Too bad, it was too dark. Only certain areas I was able to visit and captured some photos.
