Ouh, first of all, very sorry for the delayed posting. It has been a long time since my last posting right? I've been very busy lately or to be true, very tired with all my works at the office. OK, let us put aside about the office stuff. I want to tell all of you something....

You know what I did last Christmas eve? Well, this is all about it.
#1 - home-made pasta, fresh salads & potato salad

You know what I did last Christmas eve? Well, this is all about it.
Well, this was the first time in my life that I joined the Christmas eve celebration. It was the invitation from my department's Assistant Manager, Melanie Ebelle. She is actually a German's. She invited us to get into the same ambience of Christmas celebration at her condo at e-Gate. Her parents flew to Malaysia on the 23rd Dec to celebrate it here. They will also go for a long vacation after this Christmas.
We went to her house straight away from office. As you can see, she's explaining to us about the German's food. The good thing was Melanie really put her effort at making sure that all the food are Halal. At this, we did not have to worry. So, these were all the food, the main course. It consisted of home-made pasta with the gravy, fresh salad, and potato salad with light nutmeg.

so, it does give a strange taste to our buds, but no harm trying!~ ;) )

Then, we were given this SURPRISE! At first I thought that all this below stuff were just for their gate decoration. It served two functions after all. That night, I learnt about the German culture. All the socks are actually for us, of fulfilling their invitation. To them, during Christmas, it is a time to exchange gifts, and to give gifts to whoever that come and eat at their house.

On the 15 th of October 2009, a dinner namely CIS Department Raya Gathering and Appreciation Night 2009 was organized in celebration of Aidilfitri as well as to acknowledge the high achievers in academic especially from the Computer and Information Science (CIS) Department.
The VIPs invited were Dr. Fadzil, Dr. Abas, Dr. Halabi, Dr. Alan and a few lecturers. Conducted at Main Hall, the dinner started at 8.30 pm with a speech delivered by Dr. Abas. Then, it was the time to enjoy the food served.
As for my batch, the "Second Years' " was only represented by 11 of us. 8 techists (Sabrina, Atih, Jee, Sarah, Diyana, Pat, Thuy, and Zuhair) are from BIS while the other 3 (Niena, Farah and Bahariah) are form ICT.

The dinner then continued with the cert-giving ceremony. For the First Year and Second Year, it was given by Dr. Fadzil and for Third Year, by Dr. Alan. The funny part was, for the Second Year, only 11 of us attended this dinner and receiving the cert while the other batches have at least more than 50 students. This somehow made the usherettes doubtful and hardly believed. ;P
Well, the truth is our batch, Jan '07 has the least Technology Students in UTP's student intake history. The total number of ICT & BIS's students of Jan 2007 did not even reach 50. Even the Jan 07 BIS's students were only 15. :)
Coming back to the dinner, after the cert-giving ceremony, it was then continued with a montage show before we were dismissed. Of course, before going back we had this photo-taking session!

Sambungan post pasal raya lagi...hari keempat sambung pegi beraya kat rumah terbuka kawan baik aku, Saaidah. Masa pegi beraya ni terjumpa pulak dengan Maya, kawan sekolah rendah ktorg dulu.

Papa CarriesHuhu...sebelum mulakan post ni, mintak maaf la sebab dah lama tak updet blog ni. Bukan apa, sejak bukak sem lepas cuti raya hari tu, agak sibuk dengan projek2 + test2, sampai masa tidur pun tak cukup. Tapi biasa la tu, cuma tak dapat updet blog sekerap dulu...huhu~
Walaupun raya dah lebih 3 minggu dan mungkin cerita pasal raya dah nak basi kan, aku nak post jugak pasal suasana hari raya aku hari tu. Kali ni untuk raya kedua dan ketiga. Sejak dulu lagi, hari kedua baru balik kampung. Herm, tak banyak sangat gambar sebab kalo balik kampung tak sempat sangat nak bergambar...
Raya Kedua :
Masa nak balik kampungMasa on da way nak balik kampung, singgah jap kat rumah kawan parents aku, pegi beraya la kira. Kat rumah tu, ada satu baby ni, mata dia sangat cantik. Sekali tengok, dia ada iras-iras pelakon Que Haidar. Comel sangat, baru 2 tahun, tapi sangat aktif. :)

Diorg sebaya dengan adik aku...semua nak amek SPM tahun ni.Yeah...sebelum balik, nak amek gambar jugak dengan si Dafi ni sebelum dia bertambah besar nanti. heee~ Dia ni macam tau2 ja orang nak amek gambar dia. Kalau ada kamera depan muka dia, mesti dia tak tengok tempat lain, tengok kamera sampai gambar dia diambil. Budak-budak zaman sekarang memang macam tu kot, membesar dengan segala macam gadget.

Sebelum balik rumah, singgah jap kat rumah Ustaz kat Bukit Mertajam, dah memang on the way. Tapi masa sampai tu dah agak lewat petang, ramai yang dah balik. Rakan-rakan dari UTP pun semua tak sempat jumpa. Tapi ok jugak la, at least dapat jumpa Ustaz~ :)

OK, dah seminggu lebih dah kot kita beraya...aku baru nak cerita pasal raya hari tu, ades. Kalau orang lain, mesti dah banyak post diorg pasal raya kan. Sorry la, sebelum2 ni tak sempat nak online sangat sebab banyak keluar jalan. hehe~
Herm, ni la aku di pagi raya hari tu.Pagi-pagi lagi dah kena cahaya matahari. huhu~
Hari raya pertama tahun ni, aku pilih kebaya indon warna kuning.Agak-agak kak Chuna jeles tak tengok aku pakai warna kuning ni?
hehe~ gurau ja ek kak Chuna~ :)
Rumah pertama yang ktorg satu keluarga pergi beraya ialah rumah jiran ktorg merangkap pengasuh aku dan adik aku masa kecik2 dulu. Ktorg panggil dia Tok Su. Rumah dia memang setiap kali raya jadi rumah pertama yang ktorg akan lawat. Kalau pergi rumah dia masa raya, memang pasti untuk makan lemang dan nasi impit. Tok Su masak sedap kot, sampai bertambah-tambah ktorg makan...pada hal ni baru satu rumah. haih~
Tok SuLepas tu akan pergi pulak ke rumah kenalan abah aku, Dr. Novandri. Isteri dia mungkin akan jadi penyelia aku masa intern nanti, tapi tak pasti lagi.

Destinasi seterusnya ke rumah Uncle Anuar pulak. Uncle Anuar ni kawan Abah sejak muda-mudi dulu.
tak bole dinafikan, baju Adilla memang VOGUE!Yang berbaju merah ni Adilla, anak uncle Anuar merangkap teman sepermainan aku masa kecik-kecik dulu. Kalau aku pergi rumah dia dulu2, harus kot ktorg main lari2 macam ice water tu dan main buaian sebab kawasan rumah dia agak lapang. Ktorg main lari2 sampai dah tak larat baru berhenti dan kadang-kadang tu sampai kena marah dengan parents masing-masing sebab bising sangat masa main. Huu...tu cerita zaman kanak-kanak dulu. Masa tu tak la pancit kot lari2..hehe~
Nak dijadikan kebetulan pulak, nama ktorg adik beradik memang sama. Adilla ada kakak nama Diana dan aku pulak ada adik nama Adilah. Tapi Adilla sebaya dengan aku dan in fact, ktorg pernah satu kelas masa Form 1 kat SGGS dulu. Dah la naik bas sekolah pun sama. hehe~
Sebelah malam pulak, pergi beraya kat rumah kawan aku yang selalu claim dia comel dari dulu sampai sekarang. Ni haa...Nik Nur Nadiah...tapi nama panggilan dia ialah Nik Comel. Sekarang ni dia belajar kat UiTM Shah Alam, dalam Perakaunan. Ktorg sama kelas sejak Form 3 sampai Form 5. Pastu pergi tuisyen akaun kat tempat yang sama. :)
Nik ni ceria orangnya walaupun dia selalu cakap yang dia ni agak pemalu orangnya. ah-ha~ ;PTamat Hari Raya Pertama-
